My university is closed today and tomorrow due to “uncertainty about transport and possible disruption around the G20 Summit at Excel”... they have decided that, “after a very careful assessment”, they “should not expose students and staff to the level of risk anticipated on Wednesday and Thursday”...
Apparently, thousands of protesters (environmentalists, anarchists, anti-capitalists, anti-war campaigners etc.) are set to descend on the city of London... police prepares for the biggest security operation ever seen in the city... many people have even been urged not to wear any suits to work as they may draw protesters’ attention who aim to target those working in the financial sector... many roads have been closed... and half of London looks really creepy as many banks, shops and buildings have either closed or boarded up the windows with thick pieces of wood in anticipation of trouble breaking out...
What the hell is going on here?
Are we preparing for the World War III or what???
I think this is all bullshit and we, working class people, will have to pay the price for stupidity and ignorance of many of those who put us in the position we are at the moment... and I think we will be paying this price for many years to come...
